What we do
Invested Alpha™ is a financial publisher covering the stocks, sectors and headlines that move the market — written for everyday investors rather than for institutions. We follow the day's tape, explain why it happened in plain English, and point out what it changes for a normal portfolio.
Every trading day we publish original coverage of the market open and the market close, plus a free daily email that rounds up what moved, which names are in play, and one idea worth understanding. We do not charge for the newsletter and we do not sell your email address.
How we work
- We explain, we do not advise. Invested Alpha is not a registered investment adviser and does not provide personalized recommendations. Our job is to make the market legible, not to tell you what to buy.
- We show the numbers. Market data on the site is live from third-party providers, and the figures we quote in articles are attributed to the session or data release they came from.
- We label advertising. Sponsored placements and paid offers are marked "Advertisement." We are compensated when readers engage with them, and that compensation is what keeps the newsletter free.
- We correct mistakes. If something we published is wrong, email us and we will fix it and say what changed.
Who we are
Invested Alpha™ is owned and operated by Economic Media LLC, a media company based in Farmington, Connecticut. Economic Media builds and operates financial media properties and works with companies raising capital and with publishers in the financial-information space.
